Hello

COMMUNITY SERVICE

One of the founding principles of Scouting was to help youth develop good character and citizenship. One of the ways Cub Scouts continue that tradition is through acts of service in our local community. From our annual "Scouting for Food" program to help stock local food pantries to trash cleanup and outdoor conservation projects, Cub Scouts around the country raise awareness in their local communities through acts of service.

COMMUNITY

The biggest impact Cub Scouts can have is on their local community. This is also the easiest way to raise awareness of Scouting and give back to the partners who help facilitate the Cub Scout program. We organize a variety of opportunities throughout the year for Scouts and their families to help make our community a better place to live.

CHARITY

Scouting for Food is our annual nationwide service project that teaches Scouts the value of helping others. The Scout slogan is "Do a good turn daily, " so our food drive is called a "National Good Turn." In addition, our Cub Scout pack also organizes service opportunities with local charities and ministries.

CONSERVATION

When you spend time outdoors, you learn to respect the world around you and see how sensitive it can be. Scouts understand that we must all work together for the betterment of the land, forests, wildlife, air, and water. Cub Scouts often provide "Conservation Good Turns" by planting trees or picking up trash in their local community.
